FAQs

Do you accept insurance? Yes I currently accept Aetna( NC & SC), BCBS, Cigna (SC & NC), BCBS of MA, and private pay.

What is your cancellation policy? If you need to cancel or reschedule your session please contact me via email or phone 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time and I will work with you to reschedule. If you do not provide me with a 24 hour notice before cancellation your card on file will be charged a $75 fee. If the card is unable to be charged you will not be able to schedule another session until you have paid in full. If you cancel or reschedule 3 or more sessions without 24 hour notice you will be terminated from services.

What is your late policy? If you are a few minutes late to your session, our meeting time may be shorter than anticipated. I may not be able to extend the time past what is originally scheduled, to respect the session time of other clients. If a client is more than 15 minutes late, the session will be rescheduled to allow for adequate time and attention to be devoted to the work we are doing. You will also be charged a "no show" fee of $75.

How long are sessions? The initial session is typically 90 minutes long. Normal sessions are 45-60 minutes long.

Does therapy work? The progress of therapy greatly varies due to each persons unique life experiences. There are a variety of factors that go into treatment and how soon you will see results. We will track progress throughout the tenure of treatment and make updates to treatment plans/goals as necessary.
